  • ANA TR NH901 NRT-SIN Business Class [Pics]

Just sharing some brief details & pictures from the flight. NH902 SIN-NRT was a red eye so I won't be posting a TR for it as I slept all the way.

    Flight No: NH901
    Aircraft: 767-300 (JA60*A)
    Departure Rwy: 16R NRT/RJAA
    Arrival Rwy: 02L SIN/WSSS

    Plane: 8/10

    - Seats were all right but I prefer SQ's short haul business class seats.
    - Neither sleeper seats nor proper recline seats.

    Check in: 6/10

    - Business class check in counter only had 3 counters open out of 8. Wait was approximately 15 minutes.

    Meal: 9/10

    - Food was great! (See pictures)

    Service: 9/10

    - Attentive staff (Constant supply of Evian water bottles)

    Arrival: 8/10

    - Arrival gate was at the end of the pier of T1. Was too tired walk the distance.

    Overall: 8/10

    Why doesn't SQ have this?

    Nice sunset!

    Leg room!

Ya, I like these nose or wheel cameras which is also found on LX. However, at night time for LX, nothing can really be seen thru the cameras.

Also wondering why SQ do not have those cameras? Perhaps it's due to cost again?

No idea. I am sure these come with cameras it's just a matter of hooking it up with the IFE system.

They are afraid that passengers might get panic when the aircraft is landing in crosswind condition?

It's a Japanese local law that require all Japanese carrier must turn on its camera during taxing, take off, landing, cruising, etc...for passenger viewing. It's one of the safety features that passengers have the right to know what's going on outside.

I personally tried ANA 744 & JAL 744 & 777 & the camera was on all the time, spoke with some crews so I just found out the reason behind this.

Hope CX, SQ, & UA will do this some day...!

                          Thanks for the pictorial TR.
I've had nose wheel cam on EK and Finnair. Quite liked it.

Anyway, please can you tell me what you had for your Japanese meals?

I do particularly like the nose camera for when you are coming into land and you can see the runway, almost feel like you can give the pilot instructions, down a bit, left a bit, Ok looking good. However it can be a bit off putting when there is a strong side wind and you look like you are coming in way off to one side of the runway.
