Thanks SQFG I'm a little bruised and limping but think my pride is rather more battered,....not helped by a little old lady on a bike stopping to see if I was ok

Does mrs nickbot find your sports injuries sexy?

Leave the Ducati at home and drive the McLaren instead.

Thanks for the well wishes folks! It was really only a little incident and I'm back on the bike again this morning.

Of course! ...actually, she doesn't like my legs at the moment,...she says they're too muscular

I think SQFG gave the impression I was on a motorbike, but it was just my bicycle,...still, I do cycle pretty quickly!

                  Thanks again folks

Glad to hear that you're okay after your mishap, nickbot!

Bicycle accidents can be nasty. One of my ex-colleagues broke both her wrists when she fell off her cycle! She was of course unable to do anything for herself for months afterwards and required lots of help from her then boyfriend (who she later married ).

                        Wear a helmet always, ok?

Yep, always do,...although it's slightly debatable (from the literature) whether helmets actually help - I'm in the "must help to a degree" camp!

There's only One way to fly.... SINGAPORE AIRLINES!
If SQ is too expensive, the other way to fly is Qatar Airways

I'm not- I've pretty much bruised every part of my body at one time or another while riding my bike or skating, but never my head. Smart enough to duck&cover
