Question About TG Y+

As SQ will be getting rid of their Y+ A345 service to LAX later this year, I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the TG Y+ between BKK/LAX and BKK/JFK and can comment if it is a feasible alternative to SQ "Y" on flights to LAX?

I note that they also operate the A345 but that Y+ has a seat pitch of 42" compared with Y+ on SQ of 37" and 38"-40" on NZ.

Even their Y with 36" looks impressive for someone who is 6' 2".

The main downside, ex-SIN anyway, is that TG Y+ to LAX and JFK prices up only slightly less than J.
