    Welcome to SQTalk!

I don't know about the T3 transit hotel but this post:

    http://www.sqtalk.com/forums/showpos...1&postcount=19

refers to May 2008 as the planned opening date for the Crowne Plaza.

There is a Transit Hotel at T3. There was the same question in SIN T3 thread...
Again, the hotel room is windowless, I heard. And it's been fully booked like the other T1 and T2!

The Crowne Plaza is linked to T3 but on the landside.

Confirmation of Crowne Plaza May opening

Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, the first international upscale brand hotel to operate with direct access to the new Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3, is getting ready to open this May.

The 320-room resort-style hotel offers guests stylish accommodation and is easily accessible via link bridge from Terminal 3 and by Changi Airport’s new automated People Mover System from Terminals 1 and 2.

The interior of the Crowne Plaza Changi Airport incorporates open walkways and outdoor gardens to create a tropical ambience. The guest wing is set amidst courtyards with rainforest gardens and a shaded pool, for a hideaway resort feel. Open air corridors are filled with natural light and surrounded by greenery.

Crowne Plaza Changi Airport hotel is ideally located adjacent to two world-class golf courses, a short hop to the ferry pier which whisks passengers to the Indonesian resort islands of Bintan and Batam and a five-minute taxi ride to the Singapore Expo and Convention Centre. Singapore’s downtown shopping and entertainment district is just 20 minutes away by taxi or the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT).

The hotel’s dining and recreational facilities include Azur, an all day dining restaurant built around a show kitchen concept with chefs presenting cooking theatre and bringing together the freshest produce to create dishes from the finest cuisines around the world; a 100-seater Club Lounge overlooking the hotel swimming pool; a Lobby Lounge; Bar ’75, a sports bar offering a variety of experiences with its three distinct zones; Imperial Treasure, a Cantonese Chinese cuisine restaurant; a 24-hour gymnasium; massage treatment rooms and a landscaped lap pool.

Banquet and meeting spaces total 950 square metres, and showcase a pre-function area with shimmering water skylights, oval-shaped meeting rooms for flexible use of space, stateof- the-art audio visual equipment and the services of a dedicated Crowne Meetings Director.
