  • An Overnight Stay in Seoul Just To Catch 77W To Singapore

I saw lee_promise Seoul trip report, and reminded me that I have not posted my short stay in Seoul fromone of my trip this year.

I was crazy about 77W at that time. Thus, from NRT I took last flight to ICN, and stayed overnight to catch SQ15 to Singapore.
Taking the airport bus to go to Intercontinental Hotel. Was surprised to get upgraded to a better room.

    Buffet Breakfast

The buffet breakfast was mixed between Korean dishes and Western dishes. It was worth it, I should say.

Note: I hope the pictures of the food are acceptable by the food connoisseur phaleesy and jjpb3.

            One of the Palaces

Visiting this Palace. Forgot the name. At the beginning, I was not too sure whether to pay to go in, because the fact that the Palace is not in original condition, but a rebuilt one. Since it was Sunday, and needed to kill time, decided to just go ahead and to enjoy the historical path.

It's about time to go back to the hotel. Was rushing getting packed again. Unfortunately, the airporter bus was late due to traffic ja, and my ride back to the airport was a very long one. Last person to check-in in this deserted check-in counter.

I enjoy my 77W ride, and I enjoy my short stay in Seoul as well.
I will do it again next time when I have a chance to travel!

Intercontinental Seoul has a very nice japanese restaurant on the ground floor. Try there next time. By the way, the breakfast looks a bit awful for a korean like me haha.

                              Acceptable by me.

You and I have the same (food) hunting instincts. A bit of everything over two plates. Mix of East and West. Very rojak. May be unacceptable by the locals but hey, we're tourists!

The Koreans seem to do a lot of pickles too. ICN is now one of the places on my to-go list. So many places to go to!
