We always had a aweekend in Novemer when my dad had to go to a conference which was chrismtas pud day. I would make the pud that day and my brother would make the cake. Now my Nieces have teken over.

Wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas Season and a really Happy New Year too.
No Christmas Pudding here either and no baking, just bought some nice German Christmas Cookies in our local Delicatesse Store and finally put up a Christmas Tree today.
It used to be in the "old" days that that is when we put up our Christmas Tree, just before Christmas, but it looks like I am oldfashioned and that is not in anymore. :-)

Making a Christmas pud isn't easy. I did one many many years ago as part of my O level (the old national exams at the age of 16 which everyone in the UK and also Singapore, HK etc took) in home economics (for which I got an overall B so I'm certified to be a housewife but not a top one ) and it involved a long ingredient list, much stirring and steaming overnight.
