Does being PPS help on Upgrade from C to F?

Hi everyone. I'm guessing that a non-pps trying to do a mileage upgrade from C to F has about a .002% chance. What are the odds for a PPS member?

Mileage upgrades from C to F? If there's award availability, you get it, regardless of status.

If there isn't, i suppose being PPS helps clear waitlists faster

Agree with Ms SQflyergirl. When making a booking, and the I-class (upgradeable seats) available, whether the person has status or not, he or she can grab the seat. The game will be different when waitlisted. For waitlist, the clearance would be based on status.

Thanks for the info. My experience is more with U.S. based arilines that tend to waitlist almost everyone and then clear them closer to the actual flight date.
