Nice. Thanks for posting, UMD. How did you do on the tables??

        Fab pics as usual, UMD.

A question about the gray skies in the pictures: is that a seasonal feature, or a result of the infamous pollution in southern China that I've read so much about? (A friend has just finished a trip to HKG, and he told me he was coughing from the air quality in Hong Kong. )

(I'm familiar with MNL smog, so I may be slightly more immune than my spoiled Westerner friend. )

Awful....there for 3 nights and did not win any cent at all from the casino.

It was very foggy for 2 out of 3 days I was there. I couldn't tell you whether it was dust or jsut fog. I was just like you immune to the JKT smog. Judging from the color though, I am sure there were some dust particles in the air.

Having lived in HKG for the past 5 years, the level of pollution here (and the surrounding areas like Macau and Guangzhou) has clearly gone from bad to worse How I wish I am still living in Singapore.....

Very nice room, UMD - may I ask what room type it is, how much it costs and which is the best/cheapest way to book one ?

                    Thank in advance.

I just stayed at this hotel. From the photos above, UMD was in a corner room. Mine was standard room with windows only on one side, but equally spacious. Bed was very comfortable. I'm not sure the rate as this was handled by my hosts...
