  • A380 Suites TR - Part 2 (SQ220 - 31 Oct 2007)

Time to post my return flight to SIN onboard SQ’s new A380.
I was going to add these pictures to the SIN-SYD TR, but I decided that it will be easier to view on a separate thread.

The first part of the TR (SIN-SYD) can be found here:
    http://www.sqtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2588

Will now post the pictures, followed by just a few notes later on.
No bed mode Suite pictures here as it was a day time flight and I felt like enjoying the lounging position of the seat. Some more Business and Economy pictures as requested.

    Enjoy!

                  Suites - Food & Beverages

Okay, I don't usually take pictures of my meals. But for the completeness of this TR, I did. At some pictures I have already started consuming part of the food before remembering to take the pictures. Not the FA's presentation fault that they look the way they do.

                  The menu pages

                  BREAKFAST

Assorted summer fruit platter with berries and ricotta cheese

Braised udon noodle with abalone, shrimps, scallops and leafy greens

                  LUNCH

                  SQTalk classic: Dom Perignon (1999)

Roast duck and seared scallop with pasta-shiitake mushroom salad

Grilled wagyu sirloin with veal tongue in red wine sauce, cabbage-bacon, potato mash and cold tarragon salsa

Rhubarb crumble with vanilla syrup. Vanilla ice cream added upon request.

Pics of the yummy looking food has prompted me to hasten dinnertime for this evening...

Yup, everything I had on this flight was VERY good. Well, except the duck in the appetizer, which the flavor was too rich for my taste.
