Not sure if it is targeted, but the essentials:

1) Earn 750 KF miles for joining Marriott Rewards

2) 750 miles bonus for each of your 1st, 2nd and 3rd qualified stay on top of the base miles (from 1 Oct 07 to 31 Jan 08).

3) Not valid for exising MR members (no idea why there is a separate section, maybe you don't earn the first 750 miles?)

Got the mailer today: for me though, a small variation: my email link ends in /01 instead of /03 and the promo code is SA01 instead of SA03.

All other stuff identical. Signed up (greedily) using the SA03 link though

I signed up greedily too yesterday - with the SA01 promo code though, and there's no mention of Marriott Silver status given - so I guess I lost out then.

I think the brochure mentions the bonus miles are credited after end Jan 08 right ?

Just want to check also... To get the bonus miles for staying at a Marriott property, do we give our KF number or MR number? I remember there isn't a double dip option right?

When you registered, I think you were supposed to choose Miles as your earning preference, with KF as the FFP. When you check in at a Marriott, you show your Rewards card, and the miles credit automatically to KF through the linkage you created in your Rewards account.
