  • Airline sacrifices goats to appease sky god

Officials at Nepal's state-run airline have sacrificed two goats to appease Akash Bhairab, the Hindu sky god, following technical problems with one of its Boeing 757 aircraft, the carrier said Tuesday.

Somehow this does not fill me with a lot of confidence in the airline.

Yes, well, I've heard of that remedy before. It's somewhere in the Boeing Manuals.

Could be a little different on an A330, being fly-by-wire and all. That might require chickens instead.

Or shredding squirrels, as in the case of a certain Dutch SCARYteam member.
