Just saw this video & found out VA Economy Class seat had individual power socket, USB plug, PTV touch screen to choose the meal, etc...

the only thing SQ is missing is that option to choose meals on ptv. Other then that Krisworld and Red are the same

Well actually I think KrisWorld has more options and also on Red it's pay-per-view I believe. And also, VA is not a full long-haul global airline like SQ so they have the ability to focus in on a nice economy and decent business/first. But yes, Virgin America is most definitely as it seems the best airline for N. American domestic service!

Totally agree with quik! on that one. Virgin America looks to be a fantastic product and I can't wait to try them out in December.

Had a quick look at their site. Nice

Exit rows and bulkhead seats cost $25more for trans-con and $15 more for shorter legs.
55" pitch in F. Considering other domestic F, its extremely generous

Take a peak at their site to compare the pitches as I'm not sure what they are. HUGE AL just completed a RT on them...albeit in F. Trip Report with pics is here.

SQTalker, I did take a peak at the Y class for you on my flight this afternoon (well, I did see your post before the flight, but also had to use the rear lavatory (read: Heinekens) since people in Y had invaded F's [they really do need to pull a Jerry Seinfeld and put a steel door in there] ). The seats look nice. Less cramped than WN and with pretty large screens. Many people liked the chatting between seats. I should have tried it as there were some nice ladies on my flight... The IFE (when working [see my trip report]) ROCKS! TONS of really cool content. And with their recently signed agreements with Warner Bros., NBC, etc. it will only get better.

I did hear that some of the flicks are PPV in Y, but everything is free in F. Don't know what ppls routing would be, but the pricing is similar to many carriers' Y. Actually my ticket (LAX=>SFO=>LAX) would have been $880 on UA or AA. VX's price was only $300!
