  • [NRT] - JL F lounge (T2)

Anyone have any pictures of this lounge ? It opened last month.

I've taken a few but they're with my camera phone so not very good quality.

Just had a shower (no shower kit; massage shower with a rainforest head) and waiting for my massage (choice of quick body, reflexology (i.e. foot) and scalp - waiting time of 30 mins).

The lounge itself is spacious and has plenty of natural light with big windows. At this time (3pm), there's a selection of hot food, e.g. lobster and crab soup some rice dishes etc. Reading the info on the Internet, there's more substantial hot food available at meal times.

There's also a bar with barman (opens at 3pm); business centre with bookcases and fake old books (!); a relaxation room with cubicles and a S shaped lounger in each; and a smoking room.

The lounge is pretty empty at the moment so lots and lots of empty seats.

Definitely better than the (nice) CX J/F lounge upstairs!

This link has a few photos:

Will post mine when I get them off my camera phone.

The massage lasted about 10-15 minutes, was done lying face down on the massage table fully clothed (with a towel on top) and by a lady who used plenty of pressure (ouch!).

Entrance to the main part of the lounge (having walked past the shower rooms (each with an electronic lock opened with a keycard from the desk) and the massage room)

      The bar (barman not present)

      The hot food section

jhm, don't know how I missed this post (actually picked up the link from FT).

How is the relaxation aspect there (food, lounging, reading material, etc)? I'm flying my mother on JL F and she's got a 3 hour layover in NRT. Shame she doesn't drink with all that Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame onboard...
