NH's Y+ class Policy

MANFlyer's thread on SQ's Y+ got me thinking and thought I ask yr opinion.
On their planes with Y+, only their Plat members get those seats @ check-in. No other way, not pre-assigned. Not even Full Y fare gets those seats and certainly not *G.
Wat do y'all think?
