Yummy. Always thought Alitalia was a sub-standard airline. Didn't reliase they actually can serve restaurant style Italian food on board. Not bad for such an airline.

I would have to agree with LukeGT regarding the pasta.

The food is really nothing to write home about. The only food that I felt was OK was the scrambled eggs.

LukeGT has to teach us how to cook pasta! I can handle eating it very well (slurp slurp slurp).

Reminds me of one of the scenes in the Japanese noodle film, Tampopo about a class of Japanese ladies learning how to eat spaghetti silently and suddenly there's a man in the corner sucking away loudly at his ramen! (And the dot dot dot food scene involving live seafood and whipped cream amongst other things...)
