I wonder if the incoming flight was instructed to do a go around.

The inbound TT 320's self declared go around is what triggered it.

The MH333 had begun it's take off roll when ATC cancelled take off clearance fearing the 333 would climb into the path of the TT320

Sorry if it's an unsexy story. People wanna see MH sensationalism. So hey - let's blame a TT/ADL atc mistake on MH. Because it's the cool thing to do !

As expected, MH is suffering the same fate as QF. Every minor "incident" is blown out of proportion.

Won't be surprised to see MH being blamed for having lousy pilots and poorly maintained aircraft when a less-than-smooth landing occurs.

I agree. Fairly routine thing to happen. This story would not have been reported with the same urgency had it not been for the unfortunate events of the past few months.

Did anyone catch another mistake in this short report?

The TransAsia incident occurred at Makung Airport, not Kaohsiung Airport!
