I am planning on collecting fancy dinnerware or food paraphernalia from destinations I have been to (and planning to visit) around Asia. I would like to get suggestions for good-quality brands/ items - stuff you can display in a china cabinet. Or perhaps other items (maybe not necessarily food-related) that is most representative of that culture. So far, I could only think of the following:

Thailand: a complete set of benjarong dinnerware
Malaysia: Royal Selangor tea/ coffee set
Japan: ??? (where to buy lacquerware? non food related: wooden dolls???)
Hong Kong: tea pot set? any particular brand?
Indonesia???
Taiwan???

Any other suggestions? Other items?
