Trapani-Birgi for 5 hours

I am connecting from Rome to Manchester via Trapani-Birgi Airport in Sicily, anyone knows whether there's anything interesting to be done at the airport or near the airport for about 5 hours, or should we just stick to the airport itself? wikitravel is skint on details here. thanks!
