  • PPS God-Like Treatment: Coming to an Airport Near You

Greetings and Salutations forum full of friendly people,

Though I cannot reveal, TPPS Members can look forward to enhanced treatement at Terminal 3, Changi Airport while all PPS Members will appreciate more value-added facilities at the new Terminal which fills a service hole / feature that had been available on some other airlines.

(Official) details later this year apparently.

How God-like will it be? Rose petals strewn as I walk? SQ should release the information soon to pacify those that are thinking of detracting from SQ.

One thing I'll assume that they will implement is an arrivals lounge for F passengers and maybe C also?

Maybe a random guess, but a departure lounge for PPS members only?

Whatever it is SQ should release it ASAP to make it an incentive for PPS members to continue to fly them.

Would love lounge escort to departure gate similar to what ANA was providing in the not too distant past, for its First Class pax.

If SQ had any sense, they would have announced whatever these God-like treatments (e.g. rose petals as mentioned, a choir of SQ girls/boy to greet you on arrival etc) are at the same time as the PPS changes/reduction in benefits but they didn't.

Too little information from SQ, too late for people like me who've changed travel plans as a result.

I had a dream last night that F and TPP pax will have drive through check-in at T3.

jhm, i completely agree with your remarks!
There's only One way to fly.... SINGAPORE AIRLINES!
If SQ is too expensive, the other way to fly is Qatar Airways

I'll lurk, wait and see.....guess damage already done....

The phrase "god like" is used and taken out of context so many times. Part of me died with the changes to the PPS club

                      Spot on.

If they do announce a slew of new benefits at a later date, after p*ssing vast swathes of their regular pax off instead of using the opportunity to inform them of the benefits at the same time, then we are surely looking at a shoe-in for the the winner of the award for most stupidly handled FFP changes in the history of air travel. Genius.

I think the nasty taste left by all this on some people will take some shifting..

I'll join the chorus of "too late". Well put, jhm. I think SQ thoroughly misjudged the sense of betrayal among erstwhile loyal flyers.

I too will wait to see how SQ mollifies QPPs, now that QPP/TPP requirements have been jacked up at the same time that QPP benefits slashed. I can imagine that those who are actively looking for alternatives to SQ (if they haven't found one already) are more likely to be alienated QPPs than jilted TPPs.

Supposedly an emptier F lounge, just for F pax and TPP. And I hope SQ employs the current staff, not sub-contracts.

Thanks Singapore_Air for the breaking news on God-Like Treatment. Hope SQ announced it soon rather than waiting until the end of the year. I thought it is always better to announce the good news before the bad news. SQ seems to get it the other way around.

Like what jjb3 mentioned, I already flown CX in J for the 1st on 11 April to Shanghai and will be on CX for a trip to Beijing end April in J.

Maybe this means they will actually will be taking the full size of the SKL at T3, and not trying to to reduce the size by a third from the original plans.
