Best cities for pre-Christmas atmosphere

Hi folks,

We are planning a trip to Europe in the week preceding Christmas. We are considering Krakow, Prague, Vienna, and Dresden. Krakow and Prague are confirmed. Between Vienna and Dresden, which one has a more christmassy feel, and feels different than the 3 we already decided to visit? We have about 2 nights in either. Or are we better off adding nights to Krakow and Prague. Currently we are spending 2 nights in Krakow and 3 in Prague.

Any thoughts?

I've never been to Krakow or Dresden, so I can't vouch for those, but I have nothing but good things to say about Vienna and Prague. Both cities are incredibly magical. Vienna is more of the classical 18-19th century Europe that you imagine, and Prague would look beautiful with all of the spires draped in snow.

I honestly have no problem vouching for Vienna.
