  • changing a different airline

lets say you buy a roundtrip ticket on EVA from SFO to vietnam. On the flight back to SFO is it possible to change to Singapore Airlines? Will you have to pay some more money?

It would depend on the fare bucket you're booked in and the accompanying fare rules.

If your ticket has a 'non end' restriction - then I'm afraid you're stuck with Eva.

Usually endorsements on to other carriers are only permitted with full, flex fares. (RTWs aside...)
Plus there are some routing rules you might have to comply with, though I'm not too sure about these.
