Steep increase in F fares CGK-LAX(or SFO)-CGK

Just checked SQ website and the price just went up from around USD 6,000 to USD 10,000. This means around 70% increase from the old fare. I heard something about IATA fare increases everywhere recently. However, this increase makes little sense. It is now cheaper to buy separate tickets CGK-SIN-CGK and SIN-LAX-SIN in F.

But then that would work against us to give SQ more money to renew our PPS membership.

The J/F price rises are actually SQ's way of helping their customers by making PPS (re)qualification under the new PPS Value rules easier!

its a pity there arent F fares ex-DPS
