Folks, I have a friend who will do trip to Chille (i.e. Santiago and Easter Islands).
I told him the only way to go there is to fly LAN, SIN - SYD (by QF I suppose) - SCL (on LAN). I presume you can find a QF/LAN combine fare from some travel agent.
But, this trip will be very long trip. He asked me if possible to break the journey in SYD before continuing the SYD-SCL legs. I think at higher fare this is possible.
Since people here are more knowledgeable then me, please advise if there is any better route (and also economical). time should not be a constraint as he is a retiree.
